Two cats got along in their household just fine. Cole and Marmalade were good friends, but their parents decided they could use even more company. They adopted two new kittens. The parents spent meticulous time preparing the older cats to meet their tiny new siblings. They tried to get the older cats used to the new cats’ smell so they would become friends.
The parents set up a good living space for them and planned ahead for the cats to interact. They fed them on opposite sides of a door to ease the process.
