Bertram was only a few months old when breeders abandoned him. The larger-than-average Pomeranian was unlikely to bring a high price, and so the breeders saw no interest in him. You see, Pomeranians are known for being cute, petite dogs. Because Bertram didn’t fit the average description for dogs his breed, he was cast aside.
His story doesn’t end there though. Cathy, a New York City resident, heard about this dog on the internet. She loved him from the moment she saw him, which sent her nearly across the nation to go and rescue him.
