A team of rescuers got a call about a cat in need. When they arrived, they were surprised by the state the cat was in. She had a tumor covering half of her face. The team took her to a shelter that was known to have a high kill rate.
The team was unsure of whether or not surgery to remove the tumor would be effective and what her life would look like afterward. They figured she would never find a home after that kind of surgery. A team of caring people decided the cat deserved a second chance.
