Area 51 has been in the news a lot lately after some people tried planning a raid of the area to see the place where people say the government keeps proof of aliens. A local animal shelter decided this was the perfect public relations opportunity to help their animals find loving homes.
They dressed the animals up to look like aliens and claimed that the head dressings helped the animals ward off aliens. They have more than 200 animals up for adoption, including 24 cats. They posted to social media saying that these animals are not too far “out of this world.” It was a cute and creative way to bring attention to the pets in need of homes.
