A man walked into a shelter seeking a cat to be his companion. He found a black cat and knew that the cat would struggle to be adopted because most people don’t want a black cat due to superstitions. The two became fast friends. But then, when the cat turned seven years old, a strange thing began to happen.
His black cat began to grow grey fur. Now, the cat has a more marbled look due to a skin condition that affects pigmentation. After a formal medical diagnosis though, the cat owner found that it was nothing to worry about and so he embraced the unique characteristics.
