A woman who runs a cat shelter in Alabama was greeted one morning to a few cardboard boxes that were taped shut with duct tape. Although the boxes had some holes punched in the sides, she was worried about what she would find inside. She opened the first box and found a mother cat with two kittens.
When she opened the second box, it was empty. Sadly, it seemed as though the creature that had been inside had escaped. Knowing this family of cats needed shelter and loving care, she took them inside and gave them a crate all their own so the mother could raise her kittens.

It’s sad how the cats arrived at the shelter, but thankfully they were safe.
