A cat and dog were best friends. Wherever one was the other was certain to be. Both were attaining old age but it was perfect because they were just the right speed for one another.
Their favorite place to be was snuggled up together. Ginger, the cat, passed away from thyroid cancer, leaving the dog without his beloved sister cat. The family noticed that Forsberg, the dog, became constantly sad and spent his time alone moping most of the day.
