Snapchat filters are tons of fun for people but for cats, they’re difficult to understand. Cat owners filmed their cat’s reactions to them turning on the cat-face filter, and the results are pretty funny. One cat just stares at the screen wide-eyed and unsure of what to do. Another looks up at its owner to check and see if that’s really what the owner’s face looks like.
When the look at the owner’s face off the screen, they seem somewhat perplexed, but also very relieved. The transformation that their humans can make on screen is something they just can’t seem to figure out.
