Augustus was found abandoned and walking the streets of Chicago. He was so thin and emaciated that he looked like a walking skeleton with a fur coat. The Trio Animal Foundation went to work to ensure the health and wellbeing of this animal.
The team at Trio Animal Foundation was impressed by the dog’s character and spirit. They went to work to help him as he was losing fur and blood from what the staff thought were chemical burns across his body.
