A team of rescuers found an abandoned kitten that was too young to be separated from its mother. They were worried about the cat, but then a surprising thing happened. A dog at the shelter who had recently had a litter of puppies adopted the sweet kitten.
The kitten nursed from the mother dog as if the dog was her mother. It was exactly what the little kitten needed to ensure survival. The dog’s puppies grew up and were old enough to go up for adoption, but the little kitten stayed a while longer with the mother dog to reach a safe age to be adopted.
