Some of the reasons that animals are rejected is truly tragic. One cat was brought into an animal shelter because he was too energetic for his owners to handle. But when the shelter inspected the cat, they could tell he had suffered serious neglect. In fact, the cat named Odin had an eye infection that was so bad he ended up having to have the eye removed.
This did not change the energy and enthusiasm that Odin had. He was still just as chipper and cheerful as ever. And thankfully, someone who visited the shelter could see that this was one special cat.
