When a team of rescuers found this cat, they figured that its chances of survival were slim. It was extremely sick and they didn’t have the means or expertise to bring it back to health. They took it to the vet who diagnosed the cat with an upper respiratory infection, ear mites, fleas and a wound on its neck that was severely infected.
They also found the cat had an immune disease. This makes the cat more susceptible to infections and diseases. The cat had to undergo two surgeries to repair the damage to its neck.
