Feral Cat Is Nervous And Tentative To Accept Food And Water

Feral cats are used to living on their own. Accepting food, water and care from someone is not inherent to them and it can make them nervous because they aren’t used to it. One cat slowly learns to trust a human as he gives her food and water to bring her in from the wintery and snowy conditions outside.

He opens the door to show the cat inside but the cat seems unsure. So to help the cat feel comfortable, he puts out small pieces of food leading indoors. As the cat gets more comfortable, he leads the cat more and more inside.

Watch the video to see how this feral cat warms up to the indoors to get out of the elements.

Working with outdoor cats takes patience and understanding.
