A health clinic was surprised one day when they found a cat crying outside of their door. They opened the door and let the cat in. It kept crying though and they didn’t understand why at first. Then they looked at the cat’s swollen stomach and realized she must be experiencing labor pains. They took her to a nearby vet who assessed the cat.
The vet discovered that the cat had missed her opportunity to give birth and would need assistance doing so. They did an emergency C section to rescue the kittens she was carrying and help end the cat’s suffering. The kittens were born and momma cat is doing just fine.
