Rescuers that aim to trap and neuter or spay cats caught a cat that they couldn’t return to the wild. They discovered that this elderly cat had a terminal kidney disease. Plus, the cat had battle scars from a difficult life on the streets. Clearly, the cat had fought hard to survive in the wild.
Because the cat had always lived in the wild, they weren’t sure what he would be like as a house cat. They had concerns. But they put the cat with some rescue kittens and found that he was extremely gentle and sweet toward them.

You never have to take an animal at face value because they might surprise you.
