A woman adopted a kitten that was clearly not in the best shape. She said that his eyes seemed a little glazed over but he had an upper respiratory infection and she figured that once he recovered from the infection, he would be just fine. But then he got worse.
He started to run out of energy when playing with the other kittens. The kitten was also breathing with his mouth open and his chest was going inward instead of out when he breathed. She rushed him to the emergency vet who told her that he could either send the kitten home to die or do an emergency surgery that he had never performed before.
