Cats don’t need their owners and yet they choose to stick around. A cat doesn’t necessarily seek out comfort when it is scared because it has a hunter’s instincts. Still, cats choose to show affection even though they don’t need it.
The cats mark you as their own by transferring pheromones to you to tell other animals that you belong to them. Funny how you always thought it was the other way around, isn’t it? And yet, cats still wait by the door for you when you arrive home. Cats meow to their humans and not to one another.
